I took part in the the Homeschool Planning seminar given by the Triangle Homeschool Resource Center. The seminar struck a healthy balance between general "lay-of-the-land" guidance and personalized recommendations tailored to participating families. Laina is extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. She introduced me to curriculum and resources that are inspiring and meet our family's needs and style. I look forward to participating in more THRC programs!

The Triangle Homeschool Resource Center is just what we needed to FEEL confident in making the leap from school to COVID virtual, to full Homeschool! I had no idea it would make life so much more fun and easy then trying to do virtual. When you homeschool you are in control.Your kids do NOT need 6 or 7 hours of virtual school. Homeschooling we are typically done by noon. Which then means we can go and do other fantastic things, like go to DEFY (Raleigh) or go to Rock Solid Warrior. We also do walks around Lake Johnson or the Museum of art. It's not that school is over, it's just that it is morphed into something else.

The Triangle Homeschool Resource Center welcomed me and my kids to homeschooling with open arms - and a lot of knowledge and support! I am grateful to have met Laina and other moms through this group. It has provided me with connections to resources and humans that have helped us as we enter into the daydream/adventure/now reality that is homeschool.
